Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo is a Filipino artist based in Manila. Her portfolio showcases diverse artworks like portraits, abstracts and landscape oftentimes using the impasto technique. Her paintings are vibrant with unique approach that exude the feeling of peace, tranquillity and connection with nature. Her style features multiple layers of texture and prominent brush strokes. The mixture of color, shapes and emotion is beautifully depicted. Hemilyn is trained under the tutelage of Crisel Malait and Rene Cuvos. It can be said that Hemilyn is an accomplished visual artist having studied at Yale University School of Art.

Furthermore, she represented the Philippines at the 2005 Miss Globe Pageant and won the title of Mrs. Tourism Universe in 2021. She also served as President of Mutya Ng Pilipinas one of the oldest running beauty pageant during its 49th and 50th year. She was also President of the Rotary Club of Southern Mandaluyong, to name a few. She was also recognized as one of the Philippine Cancer Society’s Best Dressed Woman of the Philippines Style Icon of 2022.

Socio-civic work is very important to Hemilyn. Her advocacies are reflected with the several charities she supports as well. Holding a postgraduate degree in developmental psychology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology. She is also an entrepreneur involved in various businesses. She is also a member of the United Women Artists Association of the Philippines and of the New York Artists Equity Association, Inc.
