His childhood memories of simple living surrounded by the nature became his inspiration and proclivity as he taught himself to draw, gearing himself up for a future career in the field of architecture. He didn't get his parents nod though, thus Al ended up being a Mechanical Engineer by profession. But Al's artistic propensity must truly runs in his veins that the was able to incorporate the arts in his stint as an engineer working at the Design department for a Japanese appliance company. Collaborating with his team to create aesthetically pleasing appliances became a breeze thanks to his artistic exposure.
