Collection: Anafe Nemenzo

Since I was in Grade School, I found myself different from others, I am happy just being with a pencil and pad of paper. I used to draw in leaves, on sand and wall even on water by dropping a melted crayon on it. I don’t have ideas about materials like canvas and acrylic paints, I am the first artist in our family that’s why I am experimenting those things. Many painters and paintings inspire me but I look at the Artist attitude, perspective and heart. I considered Master Pablo Picasso for his point of view in life and art, the general Santos city native Emmanuel Nim and performer and visual artist Sam Penaso. Since I entered college as a Interior design student I loved to joined painting Competition, double pressure yet it’s my contentment when it comes to art. After college I’ve been focused more in my art and also have many exhibit’s, doing murals, being mentioned in art magazine and news papers, and luckily being one of the winner in several art competition. In 2017 was a big break for me to exhibit international to represent the Philippines in Berlin, Germany and got interviewed by Antenne Frankfurt, in Frankfurt Germany. Since then I was able to exhibit in Milan Italy, Jakarta Indonesia, Amsterdam Netherlands and Cologne Germany by Transwing Art Gallery. One of the most glaring features in all my works is that it focuses on people - A group of people moving and individual person.

Finding some inspiration is not difficult, they just around. All I have to do is to be observant. My heart and hand are connected and act as one. Whatever my heart tell me I just follow it and keep on painting.
