Collection: Bing Siochi

A self-taught artist from Davao, grew up in communion with nature, was nurtured to love and respect for natural beauty of trees, flowers, mountains and the skies.

At an early age, he worked as a layout artist in one of several outdoor advertising in Davao City where he honed up on creativity. It was at a time that the call of real artistry beckoned the young Siochi. During his spare time, he wielded his brush with complete abandon making canvas the outlet of early memories.

He wanted to learn more and eyed Manila as the place of improving his art. So in 1965, he went to manila aiming to evolve in more serious art. it was not to be. He found work as a lay-out artist of
