Collection: Edge of the Earth

Visual artist Xyza Alvarez showcases a unique execution in her collection of works through her latest exhibit, "EDGE of the Earth." She transports us to extraordinary landscapes through her paintings. Xyza says her indescribable love for nature serves as her medium to connect with the Creator.

One time, while in Ilog, Negros Occidental, she beheld the beautiful mountains, each with different shapes and sizes. She was amazed by the local people living in small houses perched on the edges of the mountains, which inspired her to create the art seen in her first solo exhibit.

Using her unique technique, she captures the abstraction of trees, elegant colors, dramatic scenery, and the romantic ambiance of skies and the moon. The layered rocky mountains create a sense of restfulness for her viewers.

"It is my art, my masterpiece. I create art with my spirit and emotion. One thing that is very important to me is that through my creation, I want to remind my viewers that there is a Creator. I love His creation, especially nature, and I am beautifully and successfully created by Him. He is the greatest artist whom we must recognize," Xyza said.
