Janelle Marahay is a Manila-based artist who specializes in floral pieces. Her love for flora was cultivated by the environment of her hometown, Guimaras Island. Her art style focuses on combining the traditional and modern by incorporating abstract and impressionist techniques as well as the usage of vibrant colors, to portray a classic and timeless subject.

Janelle, who is also a student of law, vows to make art as part of an advocacy to strengthen women's rights and aims, through her art, to send the message that femininity is a power in itself.
