Collection: Jericho Pierre Curañes
The 8th of December 2000 saw the birth of Jericho Pierre Curañes. He is a Filipino painter who specializes in abstract works. His uncle and grandfather taught him how to improve his artistic abilities. He developed a passion for art thanks to his family. Jericho Pierre also a bonafide member of Visual Artists of Parañaque and Obra Galeria Artist Society since 2016. He grew up in a household of accomplished artists. Through their work, artists define who they are. As opposed to perfectly reflecting and describing the actual perception, abstract art portrays the meaning of its representations by using approximations of shapes, colors, forms, and motions. He can link it to his everyday life. The most crucial aspect of his work is how the viewer interprets it; instead of outlining its meaning, he lets the viewer construct their own interpretation based on their own feelings.
