Cultural and traditional theme is his usual subjects and Joseph B. Hilario loves to paint folkloric Filipino ways of living, their love, admiration, and faith in God. His work is undeniably influenced by the great Filipino artist Mauro Malang Santos in which he put some twist and developed his own style he calls a combination of illusionism and cubism. Joseph is steadily building his name.
