Krishnamurti "CRIS VILLANUEVA" is a Filipino artist born in Baliuag, Bulacan, Philippines in 1971. His artistic talent is influenced by both his Villanueva and Palomo family lines. He honed his skills by enrolling in local and distant art courses. Krishnamurti draws inspiration from various sources for his paintings, often incorporating trinkets from his travels. He is an avid traveler who carries still cameras and painting supplies during his backpacking trips throughout Europe. 

Krishnamurti’s style has evolved and turned toward figurative surrealism. Krishnamurti's artworks exhibit a range of themes across different series. His use of concurrent narratives and visually rich imagery reflects his political stances and unique perspectives on specific issues. In his paintings, he expresses the interplay between beauty and sorrow, pain and pleasure, drawing attention to bittersweet events and the significance of sentimentality in daily life.
