Leandro Concepcion, also known as Lee Concepcion, is a visual artist from Meycauayan City, Bulacan, Philippines. His artistic journey began in 2012, initially as a hobby pursued in his spare time after work. However, his passion for painting traces back to childhood, where he found solace and excitement in exploring the endless possibilities of artistic expression.

He is known for his proficiency in acrylic painting, creating works that blend contemporary elements, pop culture influences, and abstract concepts. His art serves as a space for exploring imagination, emotion, and cultural narratives. Through his work, he seeks to inspire joy, curiosity, and introspection in his audience.

Lee’s dedication to his craft has been recognized on various platforms. In 2014, he ventured into art competitions, culminating in his achievement as a Finalist in the prestigious Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE) Competition. Since then, he has been an active participant in exhibitions, continuously showcasing his evolving body of work to a wider audience  

In addition to painting, Lee is also a freelance canvas maker, crafting customized canvases for local artists. His humble journey in art creation and his commitment to supporting fellow artists through material preparation have earned him respect within the local art community.

In 2019, he co-founded the Grupo Uno Visual Artists’ Guild alongside Allan Gonzales and Sandy Vargas. The group serves as a local art collective in Meycauayan, Bulacan, organizing exhibitions, collaborations, and community art projects in partnership with local institutions. Through Grupo Uno, Lee continues to engage in art events and initiatives, supporting efforts that promote artistic appreciation and participation.

He remains involved in the local art scene, participating in exhibitions, art fairs, and collective projects while continuing to explore new directions in his artistic practice.
