Collection: Ranilo Zapanta
Born in Taytay, Rizal, Ranilo Zapanta graduated from the Far Eastern University in 1983 with a degree in fine arts major in advertising. He worked for a Saudi Arabian advertising company as a senior artist before becoming a full-time artist.
Zapanta has gained honorable mention in the 2010 Art Association of the Philippines Painting and Abstract Competition. Honorable mention in the ECCA/AAP art competition 2009. His remarkable works have been part of numerous group exhibits, such as the 2004 Four-Man Exhibit at the Philippine Center Management Board in New York and the
2002 Bukold Sining, Philippine Center
Management Board, New York.
He pursues his passion for art. His creative goal is to go out and let his consciousness engage in everyday life. His works are done artistically and give a very detailed view of his subject.
