Collection: Waldz Villanueva

A multi award winning artist of the Philippines known from his numerous honors in the field of art.

One of them is the 2010 Grand Prize award of Art Association of the Philippines -ECCA Art Competition, which he painted the Artwork entitled “Budhi” featured in the book “Great Themes in Philippine Art” – Mother and Child by the late Manuel Duldulao.

He is known for his expressionism contemporary subjects, affiliated with various art organizations in the Philippines that includes; FILVAG (Filipino Visual Artist Guild), Art Republic, Manila Artist Group, AAP (Art Association of the Philippines), Tuesday Group (Creative Group), Lakan Sining, Artintrad, Intramuros Artist Association, KASILAY (Kasama sa Sining at Kalayaan), and Knights of Rizal – Juan Luna Chapter.

He is the Son and nephew of Filipino Visual Artists Fred Villanueva, Teofilo Villanueva and Nestor Villanueva.

He embraces various Art Organizations in the field of art, which includes; President of KASILAY- Kasama sa Sining at Kalayaan in 1999, MAS – Muntinlupa Arts Society  1999-2001 President, 2005-2003 FILVAG –Filipino Visual Artist Guild Auditor, Head Organizer/ Curator- MHC- Muntinlupa Historical Commission National Oil Painting Competition. 

He also conducted various Art workshops by formulating FORUM-Formulated Universal Media from various foundations, organizations, schools and art galleries.

A  2016  awardee of BAKUSI- Bahay Kubo ng Sining Foundation Inc. “Natatanging Pintor na Tagataguyod ng Sining-Biswal ng Pilipinas” for his untiring passion in promoting  the Science of Beauty of Philippine Art, in which he defines;
