Product Description

He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the University of Santo Tomas in 1968. He also studied at the Art Students League in 1984 and at the School of Visual Arts in 1996, both in New York. He paints churches, houses, nipa huts, still life, flowers, and landscapes in realistic manner. His work has been produced in Philippine postal stamps. In 1984 he exhibited at the Philippine Trade Centers in New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.

He participated at the Havana Biennale in 1986 and the 17th Singapore International Arts Festival in 1998. He received the Araw ng Maynila Award from the City of Manila in 1989. Among his group shows were those held at the Vatican in 2000, the Macau Museum of Art in 2002, and the Christian Peugeot Cultural Center in Paris 2003. He has held several solo exhibits including the Philippine Center in 1996.
