Monnar was born on February 14, 1970. He graduated from University of the East- Caloocan Fine Arts Majoring in Advertising. Monnar has forged his own artistic path, following his painting career, simultaneously practicing his talent in the world of print media. He has won art competitions sponsored by the prestigious Art Association of the Philippines among other art titles.

Monnar Baldemor
Monnar at first pursued cartooning and illustrations when he graduated from collecge in 1989 with a BFA degree major in Advertising and worked as graphic artist and later on as art director for the magazine for 16 years. But monnar had a calling in painting and arts, Monnar left the cartooning and went full time in painting.
With pen and int, and acrylic, Monnar Baldemor focus his work on surrealism, with organic forms and meticulous linear strokes.
